The regasification terminal being built by TRSP/COMGAS is one of the few to use adapted vessels (in this case an FSRU – Floating Storage and Regasification Unit) for gas regasification.
Brazil is also one of the pioneers in adopting the model of transferring LNG from a supply vessel to another regasifier vessel through cryogenic arms, capable of withstanding temperatures of around minus 160º C.

THE Brazil Ports enters this enterprise using its technical knowledge, to:

  • Check for possible non-conformities between the scope of construction and the projects developed in the areas of civil, electrical, mechanical, automation and instrumentation (electromechanical);
  • Check electromechanical projects for the quality and quantity of available information;
  • Make electromechanical projects compatible with equipment and civil projects;
  • Propose improvements and solutions best suited to the scope of Construction, rectifying the conceptual and detailed design if necessary.

In this project, Brazil Ports has 7 engineers and 6 designers specialized in different areas (electromechanical – electrical, mechanical, instrumentation and automation).
